Italy coach Luciano Spalletti has welcomed Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa ‘s return to Serie A in search of regular playing time.

The Italy international has come off the bench in three of the Reds’ last four games. And scored his first goal for the Reds earlier in January in a 4-0 FA Cup third-round win over Accrington Stanley at Anfield.
However, rumours of a return to Italy continue to grow, with Inter Milan, Napoli and Atalanta all linked with a move for the 27-year-old this month.
Chiesa’s lack of playing time this season and fitness issues have seen him miss Italy’s Nations League squad, with his last appearance for the Azzurri coming in the Euro 2024 last-16 defeat to Switzerland in June last year.
Spalletti has suggested he would welcome Chiesa back and would prefer the striker be sent back to his home country to play more regularly.
“Yes, I would absolutely agree to have Chiesa under our care in terms of our level of football so that he can play again.”
“There aren’t many people who have the quality to look you in the eye and understand you. ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี We hope Chiesa can play more consistently and we will see him training and playing consistently.”
