Sane was reportedly set to sign a new contract with Bayern on a reduced salary, but it was confirmed over the weekend that the Germany international has switched to agent Pini Zahavi, who has a poor relationship with the Bavarian club’s executives.
Sane’s decision was made because he was unhappy with the offer Bayern had offered him and had been delaying his decision for some time now.
Zahavi could have other ideas about where his new client is going to end up. The report states Sane’s girlfriend spends a lot of time in London, and wants to return to England.
Sane’s former agent had spoken to Arsenal, who have been interested for a while, and Zahavi will ‘knock on the door’ at the Emirates to see if the move is still a possibility.
That has left the Bavarians unhappy, and TZ Munchen say they have offered Sane two options.
The first is for the 29-year-old to either accept the offer or pack up and leave the Allianz Arena.
