Watford have sacked manager Tom Cleverley after guiding the club to a 14th-place finish in the Championship.

Watford decided to hand Cleverley the opportunity to become permanent head coach after impressing with his appointment as caretaker manager.

However, the 35-year-old led the Hornets to a 14th-place finish this season. And the club have now decided to part ways with him as they begin the search for a new manager.
