Enrique confirms Dembele is fit to help PSG

Luis Enrique has confirmed Ousmane Dembele is fit to feature in Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League semi-final second leg. Dembele scored the winner as PSG beat Arsenal at the Emirates

last week but picked up the injury in the game. The French winger missed PSG’s defeat

at Strasbourg last weekend, leading to concerns over his return. However, Dembele has trained for the past two days

and Enrique has confirmed the 27-year-old will be available to face the Gunners again.

“He has trained with the team for two days. He will be available tomorrow,” Enrique told a news conference. Team-

mate Achraf Hakimi also said Dembele’s recovery was going well and he is an important player for the team both on and off the pitch.

Enrique confirmed that Dembele would not play in PSG’s game against Strasbourg this weekend, with the league title already confirmed.
